Export TIM Stock into RailModeller Pro

Train Inventory Manager exports the Stock format accepted by RailModeller Pro.

Prepare compatible TIM items #

Each exported item must:

  • Be currently owned.
  • Have a positive quantity.
  • Have a model or product number matching RailModeller Pro.
  • Have the exact RailModeller Pro Library name.

Edit a TIM item and enter the exact library name in RailModeller Pro library. The product number belongs in Model number.

Export from TIM #

  1. Open the inventory.
  2. Choose Import & Export.
  3. Find JMRI and RailModeller Pro interoperability.
  4. Review the count of records ready for export and records that will be omitted.
  5. Select Download RailModeller Stock CSV.

Import into RailModeller Pro #

  1. Open RailModeller Pro.
  2. Choose File, then Manage Stock.
  3. Use the Stock import control.
  4. Select the CSV downloaded from TIM.
  5. Review the resulting counts before using Stock for a layout.

TIM exports semicolon-delimited Product Number, Library, and Count fields. RailModeller Pro ignores products whose Product Number and Library do not exactly match its catalog, so exact library names are essential.
