TIM Status, TIM role, and club assignment serve different purposes.
TIM Status #
- Pending approval: the user can sign in to the onboarding screen but cannot view or change inventories. Storage and upload limits are zero.
- Active: the approved user can use TIM within the assigned TIM role and club assignment.
- Trusted: the approved account is recorded as higher trust. Trusted Status alone does not increase storage; the assigned TIM role still controls the limits.
- Suspended: the user cannot use TIM inventories. Storage and upload limits are zero until restored.
TIM Club Manager role limits #
After the account is Active or Trusted, the Club Manager TIM role provides:
- 2 GB total uploaded-file storage per user.
- 250 MB and 150 uploaded files per day.
- 10 MB maximum per image.
- 40 MB maximum per reference file.
- 30 MB maximum per import file.
The quota follows the person who uploaded the file, across TIM inventories; it is not a pooled quota assigned to the club. The limits shown in Inventory Settings are the current authoritative values for the signed-in user.
Club assignment #
The TIM Club Manager role enables club-management tools, but it does not reveal every club. The user must also be the owner or an assigned Manager of a specific club inventory. Viewer, Editor, and Manager are per-club assignments.
Troubleshooting access #
When a user cannot open the club, check:
- Is the TIM account Status Active or Trusted?
- Is the user assigned to this exact club as Viewer, Editor, or Manager?
- Does the task match that club assignment?
- For Manager tools, does the user's TIM role permit club management?
The site administrator controls account Status and the global TIM role. A Club Manager controls Viewer, Editor, and Manager assignment for the specific club.
