My-Trains AI uses TIM's ranked Product Catalog service as governed product evidence.
During identification it may compare manufacturer, model number, barcode, product name, railroad, road number, scale, and compatibility facts. A strong unique catalog match may fill missing fields or correct an uncertain AI estimate when distinctive identifiers support that result.
The review screen preserves field-level provenance and can show several ranked Product Catalog candidates. My-Trains AI does not silently link an ambiguous result. Verify the physical model number, barcode, road number, label, and packaging before accepting a catalog connection.
AI output remains a proposal. Edit or clear uncertain fields and choose Save reviewed item to TIM only when the draft matches the physical product. A catalog match supplies reference facts; it does not establish ownership, condition, value, or storage.
If a credible product is absent from Product Catalog, save the private item only after review and submit reusable product facts separately through My Contributions.
