Identify an item with My-Trains AI

My-Trains AI turns one or more useful product photos into a reviewable draft. It does not silently create inventory records.

Before you begin #

• Open the personal or club inventory where the item belongs.
• Choose My-Trains AI under Collection.
• Confirm that the displayed billing method is the one you intend to use.

Identify the item #

1. Start with one clear photo. A box front or product label is usually most useful.
2. Add a barcode, label, or model view only when it supplies another useful clue. You do not need all four photo types.
3. Choose Upload photos securely. Uploading does not spend a hosted credit or call an AI provider.
4. Review the photo set, selected provider, and exact displayed charge.
5. Choose Analyze these photos.
6. Review the proposed item fields, confidence, warnings, field-level evidence, and ranked Product Catalog candidates.
7. Edit or clear anything that is uncertain or incorrect.
8. Choose Save reviewed item to TIM only when the draft matches the physical product.

The final save uses TIM's normal item workflow in the selected inventory. AI never makes ownership, condition, value, or storage decisions for you.
