Train Inventory Manager 3.3.4 or later can exchange track Stock data with RailModeller Pro and can use a RailModeller Part List as a starting point for TIM inventory records.
Supported workflows #
- Import a RailModeller Pro Stock CSV into TIM.
- Import a RailModeller Pro Part List CSV into TIM.
- Export compatible TIM items as a RailModeller Pro Stock CSV.
- Store a native `.railmodeller` layout document as a protected TIM reference.
Stock, Part List, and layout documents are different:
- Stock describes track products and the quantity you own.
- A Part List describes products used by a particular layout.
- A `.railmodeller` document contains the layout itself.
TIM exchanges Stock and Part List rows but does not read or create layout geometry.
Where to find the tools #
Open the TIM inventory, choose Import & Export, and find JMRI and RailModeller Pro interoperability. Native layout files are uploaded under References.
RailModeller Pro is a third-party application and is not produced or supported by My-Trains.
