The tools are missing #
Import & Export appears only to users who can edit the selected inventory. Ask an owner or manager to check your role.
TIM shows Item Name is required #
Export a Stock or Part List file with a header row. Stock should contain Product Number, Library, and Count. A Part List should include Description or another item-name column.
The columns appear combined #
TIM 3.3.4 or later detects comma, semicolon, and tab separators. If an older TIM release is installed, update TIM and preview the file again.
The TIM export button is unavailable #
No owned item is ready to export. Add a positive quantity, model or product number, and exact RailModeller Pro library name to at least one item.
RailModeller Pro ignores an imported row #
The Product Number and Library must exactly match an element in RailModeller Pro's library catalog. Check spelling, punctuation, spacing, and the specific scale or track-system library.
The quantities are unexpected #
Stock represents what you own. A Part List represents what a layout uses. Review every quantity during TIM's preview and again after importing Stock into RailModeller Pro.
Can TIM create a layout file?
No. TIM exchanges inventory counts and stores native layout documents as references. It does not have the track geometry required to generate a `.railmodeller` layout.
